The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I am pretty excited to be heading to Suwanee Music Park this weekend. My wife and I go there for Magfest and Springfest, and it has become one of our favorite places to camp. We use to drive down from Michigan to attend these festivals. My first year attending, my friend Pete and I were using the old Renasiance Festival grounds to use as an object course and we talked about how perfect the place would be for a disc golf course.
Years later, my good friend from Michigan, Denny Ritner, brought the dream alive with the creation of the Magnolia Disc Golf Course. I was really excited to help him on certain parts of course construction, and now I am equally excited to head to the park this weekend to help with the La Vie en Rose.
My wife and I will be helping the tournament TD's, but our plan is to enjoy watching the ladies play this magnificent course, and document the tournament as much as possible with pictures, videos, and hopefully some interviews.
The have wireless at the park, so updates should come pretty rapidly...stay tuned.

I read like some sort of administrative prude sometimes! ;-0 That's how I think some of the people I work with would prefer me to be :)

For maximum visibility, when someone is going to be reporting on activity at a tournament, I recommend creating a Forum discussion thread instead of a blog. That way, when you add new information or someone comments, it brings the thread back up to where it gets back onto the front page.
