....as the remaining few inches of stagnate pond water starts to fester....the stench is setting in....the ibis move in for the easy kill......then.....BAM!!! 12 inches since Monday!! BIG rain brings Lake Tuscawilla to it's highest level in years...what once was 6 distinct ponds, on the brink of drying up, ...interconnected with many small winding bone dry ditches is now...or at least for the next several days............Lake Tuscawilla!!!

Practice area looking across 18's green towards 1's fairway and beyond........

Big Time Water Hazard!!!! ..I wonder if this is a "No Wake Zone" too???

Hole 6 marks the channel....stay to the left!

Hole 7...Island Placement....gonna go for it?

.....Tomorrow, I think I'll go canoeing.

Watching the aerial video of the Nova Road corridor..The underlying problem should be obvious...as they expanded Nova over the years...they kept burying sections of the biggest drainage ditch needed in the area....Nova Canal!!

Looks like it's a 100 year flood event...at least that's what they're calling it....I'd buy that!!

Offcials say...."Our storm water infrastructure is maxed"....yep!, I'd buy that too.

it's by far the worst flooding I have ever seen since I've been here(1979) it will drain slower then normal too..all that loose soil dug up by the wormers combined with the debris thrown into the ditches by another idoit... combined with the City/County/States approach to maintaining Nova canal...it will be a while before it drains.

I got the Kayak ready!!!! lmao!!! On a positive note, I found me a good basketball floating down 11's fairway...still had air in it!!!
