And of course I must put a plug in for Ocala as well. The Ocala Greenway is 24 holes through a pristine pine sandhill ecosystem. It is truly a one of a kind course in Florida. The other parks mentioned above are great courses but are very typical parks. If you want to get a sense for the native Florida landscape then check out Ocala. It's only about an hour away from Crystal River. I do have to agree with Matt that you should definately check out the Red Hawk.

In the Clearwater Area there are 7 Awesome courses to play. Clearwater is the Home of Ken Climo the 12 X World Champion. You may even bump into him out on the course. It is also the Home of The Clearwater Disc Golf Store. We carry 30,000 discs under one Roof. Open 9-9 Every Day. Rain or Shine. Clearwater is only 1 hour and 1/2 from Crystal River. So come check us out.

Best two courses in the area are the Red Hawk at the Plantation Inn and Floral City Park. The Red Hawk is the course used for the Players Cup. You will not have all of the OB's but still great. 5 bucks to play. Must wear collared shirt. Floral City Park is close as well. Stop by Sun King discs in Brooksville. You can travel an hour.5 east and head into Orlando, or head 1.5 south to Tampa/Clearwater as well.
