I played the other day at Oshtemo and only got through hole 8 because the snow was up to my knees! I was so tired I had to sit down and than just decided to leave. Its hard to play in that much snow when your by yourself. I played all last winter, but this is like an ice age compared to last year. I cant wait for spring......I need to play more than once a week, this is killin' me.

I played at Oshtemo today and it was nice because someone did paths down all of the fairways, so as long as you stayed on the path, life was easy.
This winter has been very strange... it seems like we have gotten way more snow than the past years, or maybe I am still not used to living on this side of the state. I am one of those freaks who loves the snow, but honestly I am so sick of it at this point. I am suffering the winter blues pretty badly. I keep telling myself that spring is right around the corner, but it's not helping.

We only have a foot over here but that is more than I like to play in. Don't like looking for lost discs. Don't trust the ribbons to stay visible. I've heard that if you go south a couple of hours there is not nearly so much snow in Indiana and Ohio.

I don't sympathize at all. We get over 500" a year. There is waist deep snow on the ground from November till early April. It does wonders for your standstill game though. On the other hand I agree. Global warming = less snow golf. I have to groom the course with a snowmobile at least 3 times a week!

Yeah I can sympathize with you. I have been playing in knee deep snow here in Big Rapids. I wear a long sleeve undershirt and a fleece jacket and I still sweat my a$$ off even when it was like 5*f last week. Here's to global warming!
