The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I just had to share that with my wife being a stay-at-home mom to a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl (redhead, at that), I thought I would give her a little break this afternoon and take our son out for a bit. I thought it would be fun to give him a disc while I did some putting practice.

We get to the course and since I thought he would just throw my spare putter around, I decided that I wanted to throw all of hole #1 and practice at the basket. After finishing the hole, I went ahead and asked if he wanted to keep going, and he gave me an emphatic "Yeah!"

Long story short, this little boy walked all 18 holes with me. He was perfectly fine to throw his monster drive of 6 feet off the tee, then walk to my tee shot and throw again.

The best part is that not only did I beat my best score (which isn't that hard since I'm so new), I also hyzered a 45-foot putt!!! Yeah, yeah it sounds like a big fish story, but it happened. Guess he's good luck and now I have to bring him to all my tournaments...

I like this, I can't wait to see how my 2 year old does this spring/summer out on the course.
