FlyZone Sports offers a variety of merchandise designed to remind us that disc golf is first a recreational sport.

We all remember the first time we picked up a disc. It flew like a rocket out of our hand only to take an immediate nosedive after reaching its peak. Our FlyZone was limited as a beginner. It was difficult seeing others throw so far yet our disc was lucky to make it past the tee pad. ...Just think if we had given up at that point. Luckily, we didn't. We continued to enjoy that beautiful walk in the park while witnessing the change in our FlyZone over the years.

Often thrown into the limelight due to its competitive side, disc golf offers all skill levels the opportunity to be active outdoors and stay healthy. Bringing families together since the 1970s, disc golf will continue to grow in popularity. It is our duty to make sure it is not overlooked as a recreational activity. We should cherish the passion for the sport and share it with others. Encourage children to play. Let them not be discouraged with their FlyZone, but to appreciate the flight... at any distance.
