The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Howdy!..

I just signed up the other day and it was also the first time I have played Disc Golf.

I came out to the Owasso, Oklahoma Centiennal park course and tagged along with some people who knew how to play. I was given lots of praise and advice and made to feel quite good about my first effort in the DG world.

I skipped 18 cause I didn't want to risk my new found Driver but ended up scoring around 85 in full. Nothing great, I know, but I did manage to get one par on my first outing. I came with my brand new Birdie putter and Shark mid range and left with a Valkrie Driver and a couple odds and ends extra. I was not expecting to get a free driver in any case, I just didn't know what I needed.

All in all, it was a great night. I hope to get out again this weekend.
Thanks for the cool sport.

Spread the word; Discgolfers rock! If you ever make it to Ks. to play their are some pretty cool courses. Tulsa was where I learned to play and I still have the utmost respect for all the golfers who stopped along the way to help me improve.
