Well, after serious consideration on the idea of driving up to Kansas City, even after I have now lost my job, has made me reconsider. The idea came to me that I should not come up after I left one of my meetings...we talked about paying attention to the signs we are shown... I realized after all that I've been going through lately, with financial struggles, a flat tire, losing my job, and wondering where I'm going to be living in Sept., we should not be running off to play golf at this time, just because we truly want to! It's just not feasable. I see that it would really make no sense at all, at this time. There's always next year! I will play in the pro-divisions whenever possible, just wont officially step up until my rating is at least 900, if I ever get there anyway! So, so sad, too bad, Worlds will go one without us, and you all will have a nice time up in the beautiful area of Kansas City. I wish everyone a safe and good tournament. See you guys next year on the Northern side! Yeah, that will be cool, I am born a yankee(Traverse City,Mi), and will always be! So it will be nice to be there again, even if the discs seem to fly with a major anhyzer up there, compared to the south. Heck, maybe it was all in our head, maybe they fly just the same, since thats what Valerie said to me in Pawhuska. Anyway, good luck to all of you lucky ones that get to go, have fun & I will say a prayer for everyone to have a safe trip!
