shot 8 down nothing super or shiny to talk about but it was windy and I always like a good wind day....

LOL..we won't miss the the overgrown fields...the grass is high enough on certain holes.....you could bale it.


It's old farm land...actually wide open for the most part...older growth Live Oaks...young pines. 9 holes right now with another 9 in the plans....will be a sweet course one day...it's a lot of fun now...except for the sea of grass.


Budgeting woes has the city cutting back...out there...they're cutting back on the cutting.

We are working towards running something out there to help raise money for the other 9 baskets...at this point we have 5 pledges for baskets and some cash raised for the effort.


Cooler weather over the next few months will help....the higher (elevation) areas are already becoming dormant...the grass isn't really growing as fast and is actually thinning out and laying over..odds are they won't mow to next spring now.
