The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
I've been trying to hit the course everyday, it doesn't matter if it's windy, raining, day or night. So far I've been doing a pretty good job keeping up. If I don't practice at least once a day in some way, I'm afraid I'll forget all that I've been learning.I'll have the hand jitters and other with drawl symptoms if I'm not out there, lol. Practice makes perfect, right?
Yesterday, I got home around 8pm, changed my shoes, put on a rain coat, grabbed my Ipod, some green, and made my way to the course. That has been my routine for the past week or so. Of course there was no one out there because it was drizzling but that didn't bother me. Some times I prefer it that way because I can throw as many drivers as I'd like with out worrying about the next person waiting at the tee.
I played four holes before night fell. I made a par 3 on one hole! I was so proud of myself. I hope I can do it again. I wasn't ready to call it a night. I walked to an open area of the course and let them rip back hand and forehand. It was so fun. I kinda made up a work out by doing so. I threw the disc as far as I could, watched it soar in amazement, and then I'd run to the disc. I probably did that about 40 or so times. I worked up a sweat too! It also made me think about getting back in to cross country running. Maybe?
Then I hung out with my friends, walked home around 11pm, and practiced throwing a Discraft prototype of the....yep, can't remember because it's not in front of me. What is it Wade? Boy, did that baby go far! I'm in love. The people chilling on their balconies probably thought they saw a U.F.O. flying around, jk, they probably thought I was a crazy chica but I'm not just OBSESSED!
