Proud to be an American

As this moment in time unfolds, I'm finding myself believing in this Nation for the first time since I began an education focused on our government. It's weird, it's hopeful. Perhaps my cynicism is finally cracking under the pressure...the pressure of Hope.

As I'm proud to say ........ in our Canadian government the Person with the highest rank is our Lieutenant Governor ....... a direct representative of the Queen of Canada and England ...... Michel Jean is her name, and she is a first generation immigrant from Hati ...... she represents our country very well as I am sure Obama will ....... here's hoping all will be better
