ESP Banger is buh-bye: this is your official heads up that Discraft has stopped production of Banger GT IN ESP PLASTIC. Those remaining copies at retailers will be the last.

Reason: after more than two years of a slow economy, ESP sales have lagged in favor of more affordable plastic. ESP Banger was -- in effect -- downsized.

Pro D and Soft X Banger GT sales remain very strong, and there is no danger of those models being discontinued.

I don't think it was a down economy and it being more affordable plastic as the reasoning, rather the case was more likely that disc golfers really don't like stiff putters. I throw bangers, but never understood why an ESP version was made in the first place.

That explains why I haven't been able to get any in months!
