The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I'm on the road working. There are many course I'd love to write down on my bag but because my boss sucks balls; I'm to stick around to hotelroom and wait to see if he would like to work today. I've spent all day in workware and sober staring at the outside and a list of golf in the area. I work for a helicopter applicater service. Mostly we can not work in rain or wind. I love to play in rain and wind. So far there has been no rain in site for the past two days, which is nice because it has rained in TN for Fing ever. Two weeks no play.
We have wind. The fun wind. Oh yeah- sober. So, I've asked and asked all thur the day "Are we going to do anything today?", to hear over and over "Lets give it a bit.". Now its 5:30 in the PM and still waiting. SOBER,BORED, and way ready to tell this f*cker off and quit my job to get just an hour of play in.
So my boss blows. What do I do?

I'll always looking for a light pole or random fence post to aim for but I'd rather be in a sea of baskets.

Make up your own course around (and inside) the hotel. Teach some co-workers to play so you have some competition.

There are times when waiting is the deal and you are at the mercy of THE MAN (even if the Man is a Woman). This happens to me (as a lawyer) waiting for a Judge to call my case. Sometimes my matter will take mere moments to conclude once it is called but until it is called all I can do is wait. Through the years I have developed this strategy: I never let the Judge know it bothers me to wait. No matter what I feel I show infinite patience. This way the MAN gets no satisfaction (no power rush) from making you wait. The lawyers who show impatience wait longer.
