The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

My sense of humor is truely tested when newbies(or pros) throw on the hole I'm playing.Sometimes the course is wooded or I'm on a dog leg and cant be seen, then its ok,but on open holes, its not cool.beyond the ovious(people could get hurt) lack of respect,or common sense.I am hoping to find a way to handle it better.(No felonies)

I usually just pick up their disc and throw it back, but I guess that IS throwing a disc at someone too.
If it happens again, I throw it in a completely different direction and as hard and far as possible.
I had it happen about two weeks ago, they were a little upset with me, but when I explained courtesy and respect, let alone the danger of hitting someone, then I let them play through to avoid further escalation of the stuation. I walk a fine line being the leader of the local club and running both weekly minis.
