Terrible day for disc golf in Chico

4 Chico city council members just voted to kick disc golf out of upper Bidwell park. Ann Schwab, Mary, Tom, and Adny Holcomb can have the worst things in the world happen to them, and only them. They voted in favor of restoration of the site. This kicks a group of users out of Bidwell park. Their reasoning was that the environmental impact was too great, opponents argued that other activities such as biking, hiking, walking, and swimming also impact the environment. This sucks, and anyone that wants to play disc golf one last time should join me tomorrow at the course. This is a sad day for Chico.
