The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I spent my Thanksgiving at work, but ran by Timmons Park and played the back nine afterward. I have to say that I stunk up the place. I took a double bogey on 11 with a rollaway that dropped off the basket - another double bogey on 12 with an approach in the creek - a birdie on 14 with a long putt - a bogey on 16 by leaving my approach wedged between two trees - and a double bogey on 18 with my teeshot short into the creek. I was really struggling to control my sidearm throw from the tee and that kept me in trouble. But a bad round of disc golf beats the best day at work!

Can't be no worse than going to a course that you find out should not be classified as nothing more than a bunch of baskets to practice putting on. I had that one on Thanksgiving, but it helped to build some short game confidence that I needed for a Tourney that is today. So I feel ya there, but you nailed it, a bad day in the proverbial Disc Golf Office is better than a good day at the real office. Hope your next round goes smoother.

I have been trying to ride 4 times a week but it can be a struggle some weeks. With the riding days it really cuts down on the disc golf days.
