This place is just a 9 hole course that we play over and over. It is where most of the recreational golfers to go to play. This course is just mostly upshots, every single hole can be reached by your drive. Anything more than a putter or midrange disc is overkill. What is funny about it, is that you can go from shooting 9 down to shooting plus 5. There are some gotchas about it than can turn you upside down if you mess up on your drive. Some holes are like a prison that are tough to get out of or you'll get the putt that rolls like 80 feet from the basket. Some of these pins sit on nasty inclines or declines so a missed put can be fatal. Hole 2 is crazy and has a path for a soft turnover shot or flex shot. You almost need to hit this line on your drive every time in order to have a chance at par...the hole is only 276'. Holes 4 and 5 are very short with not much in your way as far as trees...unless you shank your drive. These are the two that are located on an incline from the tee or a decline from tee.
I remember when I first started playing this course, it was impossible for me to get a negative score. Now I consistently throw in the negative, but sometimes get stuck in the prison or just have a stupid bad day at putting that causes me to go into the positive. A lot of these holes are total ace runs and I've almost hit a lot of them; currently I only have one ace on the course.
I usually don't really like to play there cause there are a lot of partiers that go play disc golf there or they come in huge groups. I usually only go there with a couple of my friends depending on what goes on that day. It is painful to watch them play as it takes them 10 throws to hole out on a 190 ft hole. A lot of times we ask to play thru, some let us, and some are dicks about it. For whatever reason I still go sometimes knowing that I'm probaly going to deal with these attitudes. I would rather be playing a more technical and harder course and not have to deal with a crowd. But when you're with your friends democracy tends to dictate where you're going to go. Since this is a social and fun thing as well as a serious sport for me, I would rather go hang out with my friends that go play a lone on a big course. All of those that I play with are just as good as myself or better. So it is not like I'm playing with once a week chuckers.
