The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Follow my pictorial account of growing my own hops for brewing beer. Harvest should be late August or early September. Probably not in time for the infamous '4 Keg Challenge', but who knows.

I have 4 plants, two each of Cascade and Centennial

Let me know what you think. I understand that you need a Facebook account, but you should have one anyway!

I don't think Hops are overly frost sensitive. My neighbor (who sits at the geographical center of the home-brewing world - http://www.franklinbrew.org/other/rc.html) had mentioned to me that they're to be planted early in the season, so I don't think a little cold would hurt them. Todd, yours are looking pretty perky.

Mine were in the ground since last year. THEY know when it is safe to start coming up out of the ground.
