 so I am entered in rec again. my rating hasn't been updated since my last tournament. Which kinda sucks since I'm sure it went down.

 and I dont want the other players in the rec field to see my rating and think I am a bagger.

 on the other hand.. I am ready for this weekend and am hopeful for a top 5 finish.

 If I dont do that well at least I am going to seriously consider dropping my PDGA membership next year and only entering 1 or 2 tournaments.

 there comes a time when you have to admit that your skills are lacking and your not as good ad you used to be and no amoount of practise is going to make you better.

 your getting old.

 this sucks.

Remember the game is fun,body is not reeling back in shape as we were at the younger age.Cope with the pain as long as one is able.I've recently played rec with 13-18 yr kids and enjoyed the challenge,looking at age 60 in 5 months.One is never to young or old to learn.they are inspired by what you bring to the sport,I've learned and adapted to what I'm able to throw.Yeah,it does bother you deep down when you recall how well you once played,but on the other hand you're out with a wide variety of talent.Beats staying home,feeling sad for yourself and wondering how one could of enjoyed the day with others.Stay the game,pick/choose your tourneys.;>}

I was a better player at 50 than at 43.  But at 52 I feel like I've finally found the back side of my game.  Too many worn out parts for which they don't have Mopar replacement parts!  I'll play in the division indicated by my rating and have fun.

First of all, getting old does suck, I'm 44 and don't recover as fast as I used to. At our age we should still have a lot of DG left in us though. Crank up the old arm and keep chuckin em brother.
