I went to Timmons to play the front nine but a guy was teeing off on #2 with five or six discs, so I teed off on #10. I bogeyed #10 and #11 to started off up two strokes. But then I birdied #14 and #17 and parred my way out. That's not a particularly good round but it sure beats what I have been throwing since I started playing again. As I was about to tee off on #11 a fellow from Galveston, TX came over and introduced himself and his girlfriend. They are vacationing in the area and have played Timmons several times this week. I tried to play a course in Beaumont, TX but it was after Hurricane Rita and the course was in shambles. I played 3 courses while in Arlington, TX and he was familiar with them. When I finished at 18 I saw Bill teeing off on #10, so I walked with Bill and Carla while Bill finished the round. I'm not throwing very far, but I am starting to throw backhanded again. My putting is also starting to come around.
