The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I played alone today and was +4 again. I started off with a nice little birdie on #1 but things went downhill from there. On #2 I put a thumber right on the basket, but it bounced into the creek. Pat Husted was down in the creek looking for a lost putter. I putted from down in the creek bed and hit the chains but fell out. #3 my tee shot hit a tree on its way up the hill. I left my approach about 30 feet short but putted right into the chains. Unfortunately it fell out. #5 was a disaster. Then on #8 my tee shot hit the big tree up the hill and bounced back down the hill. I laid my approach right next to the basket but as I climbed the hill I watched it roll down the other path down the hill. So I took a bogey there too.

The pinched nerve is still bothering me a lot, but I am throwing my thumber much better. I don't have a lot on my sidearm and even though my back hand is still very weak, it is getting better.

You must have come after we left. We got there about 1:30 and left about 3:45. Bill and Carla had just finished two rounds and were leaving when we got there. They said they had played a round with Gary S. I had one of my best rounds in a long time. I birdied the first 3 holes and end up with a 49. They have put a tee pad at number 13 and I noticed they were mowing the grass today getting ready for the tournament. We were there today playing pickleball. I guess if we play this weekend it will have to be at Holmes.
