Timmons - Front Nine

After work I started laundry then ran over to Timmons to get in a quick nine holes. I ran into Bill Meeks and his neighbor John. When I teed off on #4 they had just teed off on #5. They had played Greer and were finishing up with Timmons. I was trying to work on using my sidearm with my short game, so scoring was a little erratic. I parred my way through the first four, then had a great tee shot on #5. But my approach flopped next to the basket and stood up and rolled down the hill and into the creek. Instead of a nice par I took an double bogey. I made up those two strokes with birds on #6 and #8, then tried a sidearm from the tee on #9. It clipped a tree and shot into the creek and I finished at +2.
