The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Alright, I'm a toe dragger. I started dragging playing tennis. I continued with disc golf. My shoes never wear out on the bottoms, only on the tops. I like good, comfortable, water proof shoes. They cost about $120. So far, REI has let me take them back for new one's at no cost five times. I haven't bought anything else there. I'm a bit embarrassed taking them back every few months. I decided I can't do it again. So, I came up with an invention for toe draggers. Combining the forces of gutter screws and hanging iron, I've found the ultimate solution for toe draggers. I screwed around 12 gutter screws ( the brown ones for less visibility) to the front of the boot, down low so as not to penetrate the inside of the shoe. I then attached tow rows of hanger iron around the top, to catch the drag over the front of the shoe. I screwed the hanging iron in with gutter screws, again near the bottom of the front to avoid penetration of the inside of the shoe. See if this works for you. I am hoping to make it through the entire winter with these babes. Let me know if it works for you.
