With day light being a precious commodity this time of year I seldom get to play week day disc golf. However I have been blessed with not one, but two rounds so far this week! It was a good thing too as this last round really helped me understand certain flaws in my existing throw. At this point, my biggest issue is nose down. ( No I lie, my biggest issue is putting, but lets ignore that for now :) ) I can tear up short courses with buzzes and aviars, but distances out side of 350ft has often alluded me. Today while making some adjustments and messing around with telegraphing shots with the bent elbow method, I absolutely CRUSHED an orc 380 on a frozen rope. I just about shit a brick! Most importly I took some time to understand why this just happened. The main adjustment i made was rolling the wrist just slightly counter-clockwise(LHBH thrower) forcing my wrist down and creating the nose down disc angle with has alluded my disc golf game for sometime. It is going to take some time to adjust but this is something I have been struggling with for a long time. Now the hard part, just putting the time in to get it all worked out :)
