Vic The course is safe. Coachman is actually in a planned flood zone, always was always will be. The city let us put a course there years ago since most of the time it dry. The area is kind of like a retention pond without water. It is part of the county's over all flood plan. All the digging going on is actually being done by the developer who was hoping to put large homes in that site. The developer had to put a retention pond in and they let it get over grown.The city told them to clean it up. The creek has had some modifications over the years. Phase one was completed about four years or so ago. That ran from hole seven tee pad down to around the snake pit. The next phase runs the rest of the way down the creek. That has been pushed back and I'm not sure when that is to be done. If you think the park floods now you should have seen how it use to be. From what I'm hearing there might be some future changes to the course after phase two is complete. The main change is hole 16 where the new bridge will go in. Other than that the course will pretty much remain the same. So enjoy our park we are lucky to have a great course to play. Remember if it ever gets to flooded we have the most beautiful course in the county a mile away to play! See you at the course. Keep throwing!

Thanks for the comment. I find that disc golfing is a fun way to get out and enjoy nature. I will be posting some photos hopefully later today of the disc golf tournament that occurred recently in Kzoo. Check them out and let me know what you think.
