Hey we are going to be in Plymouth on sat. and going to play a course around there or maybe hudson mills. Then Toyo goes to Canada sun. and my buddy Scott is going to pick me up in the mourning and we are gong to play a couple courses, hudson mills for sure and have not decided second one yet. Hit me up if you are around and can play.
BRATS is a tough course. There are only like 9 baskets so it would be really hard to play without Ben Calhoun to show you around. There are pro tees and am tees for each of the 18 holes in the layout so really its a 36 hole course. Hole 1 is about 650 over a line of pines from the front yard to the backyard. Trees are about 70-90' tall. After making it over those there is a 200-300' shot, depending on how you handled the trees. All of the holes are as creative and difficult as 1. Hole 18 plays from the very back SE corner of the property the course sits on. 700-750' later and you are at the NE corner of the course at the swinging basket. The hole is set up with a mando at 400'. At 425' there is a gap that you MUST hit with your drive in order to get a chance at a 3. Its never been 3'd as far as I know. Course record is a 50 shot by Ben Calhoun. When I played the course with him, he was on track for 48, would've set the new record. He ended up taking a 5 on 18, bringing his score to a course record tying score of 50. It was a sweet course. BYOB to BRATS is May 17. Entry fees are low and the fun is projected to be high. I'm going to play. All you need to do to reserve a spot if you want to play is RSVP on the tournament page on this website. Peace
