I see that your home course is Veterans, my son and I went down there for a w/e to give it a try, it was fun. We both got a par on hole one! Unbelieveable huh. He's a 13year old that can throw a heck of a driver with his 360-style, it's pretty cool, and I threw a perfect roller! I'm sure I couldn't do that again, since my Leapord is now too broke down! But I could I'm sure! We plan to play more tourneys out and around Oklahoma this year. We ski in Santa Fe or Taos every spring break, saw you mentioned Sipapu. We've been invited there before, but have never gone yet. Hope to one day, sounds pretty nice. Well, gotta go find a job rt. now, but wanted to just give you a personal thank you, and welcome to the club. TTYL

At 11:13am on January 5, 2009, Nascar Dave said…: yeah, it's alot like that, only five holes that are out in the open, the rest are wooded holes, but they are pretty cleared, he must have spent alot of time in the shule, I came home without a scratch one, lol
over the time that we worked on the course I went through two pair of khakis, four pair of socks, even destroyed a pair of leather gloves, we removed a ton of briars and hitchhikers

At 10:33am on January 5, 2009, Nascar Dave said…: you missed a great time, we had like 120 people show up, have to order more bag tags because we underestimated the turnout
the course played really well for it's opening, it was rough but because we did so much work in advance, it was ok if you stayed on the fairways, now if you hit a tree and shot either left or right and got off the fairway, well let's just say that I heard alot of verbal abuse being directed at the course
I love the course and truly believe it will end up being the best course in DFW, right there with Harry Myers and Lester Lorch if not better
we'll see what the second eighteen looks like when it's finished but this course is a par 62 of some awesome disc golf

try thr play it again in Ft Worth, he's disc golfer and carries about as many as the play it again on Midway, plus he is the title sponsor for the tourney at Crowley
you'll be happy you did
