This forum seems like a good place for exchanging ideas & info. For instance, until I joined DiscgolfersR.us, I had no idea my own home course is slated to develop a new (privately owned) Zip Line attraction. I do not see how the two can coexist effectively in this limited space, so I am looking into seeing what I can do to support this 20 year old (great) disc golf course. This platform also seems ideal for meeting others who love this fun & healthy activity. I am discovering lots of new courses, and hope to play at many of them in the future, & meet other players too. All in an effort to have fun, & improve my disc skills.
Hello Donny and thank you so much for the welcome. I am a beginner, finding that this sport is very beneficial in my recovering from cervical surgery. I am a competitor in everything I do, so I really love the challenge disc-golf gives me. Thanks again for your time and have a Great Game!
Thanks Donny for the well wishes; I appreciate that. I'm improving but I think it will be a while till I can ace one LOL! I'm eager to learn as much as I can about the sport and hopefully compete soon. Hope you have a great week and happy golfing!
Thanks for the site!! This is awesome. This sport is taking off like crazy here in Dayton Ohio.. I have had the best year of my 5 years I've been playing. I had 4 aces this year so far! 1 is the pick on my profile. That one is a 365ft ace...
Donny: Thanks so much for the big welcome. I'm brand new to this sport. We have a course in our local park so that is where I need to start hanging. I need to take another trip to San Diego. Beautiful city:)
Thank you for the welcome wishes. I am SOOO happy to have finally found a site that caters to the needs of the disc golf community on a social level! I look forward to many hours spent here on DGRUS!!! (But not more than on the courses themselves, LOL!)
