I love this game! I have playing a short while but am totally hooked. I have metal plates in both wrists and have issues with extension and flextion and thought I would not be able to throw. Then I tried sidearm and have had great success. Thanks for the greeting Donny!
thanks for the welcome, i never thought of looking in santa cruz for a course, guess i will next time im out. im from lompoc, Ca originally. sure do miss the great weather out there instead of the hot humid weather. if ever out this way give me a shout. thanks again, jeremy.
Thanks for the good wishes, im lookin forward to improving my game and getting to play some cool new courses. Since I came to florida on my vaca had to visit the US's largest disc golf store and go on a spending spree. Now its time to start landing those birdies... Hope all goes well for you this 2010 season, All I know is its my first and deff. not my last!
Hey Donny. Thanks for the greeting. Good to feel welcome. First played at Morley Field when I lived in El Cajon back in 79. Moved back to Long Island (ugh)in 81. No courses up that way. Now live in South Florida and started hukking again three years ago, fourteen if you count the home-made courses we had when I was a land surveyor. If you or anyone else is down this way, please look me up. Thanks again, "Hippie" John
Thanks Donny, I learned the game playing Morley Field hundreds of times, the first time it still had 27 holes. I also played that little course off of 54th between University and El Cajon Blvd. from time to time. I hope you have more options nearby now. We have more courses popping up in the Northwest all the time. Every time I make it down that way, even though it's not often I take the bag and get at least one round in either at Morely or Huntington Beach.
