First, I want to apologize for my actions regarding the Tee pad situation, please know that my actions were not taken out of malice or to sabotage the efforts of Air Fairways, my actions were intended to protect the future of the course. I said what I said because I felt it was the only way to get my point across and be taken seriously. The reason I felt this way is because I did not know who was really in charge, how decisions were made, or how to influence those decisions. I hope you can accept my appology.
As you may know, for one of my classes I am writing a research paper on disc golf management at Pioneer Park. Basically, I am organizing my paper as a discussion of the past, present and future of disc golf management at the park. I have already interviewed a few PRPL officials, and I was hoping to interview you to get info on the clubs perspective and role in disc golf at Pioneer Park. If you have any interest in being apart of this process, please let me know.
Well three cheers for us "old guys!"
Hey I know you and Pete will need also need to contend with my Frisbee partner DQ (Moto1)... I plan on making sure he comes prepared for capturing his first BSSG GOLD!!! I might even caddy for him. Or not.
Thanks for the new division Jim, I will be there in a couple more years... (It will be nice to scoot out from under the growing shadow of Tolo- at least for a few years!!!)
Glad you mentioned Big Sky State Games. My feedback from last years layout couldn't have been more mixed. Only accolades from the Masters Divisions. Chastisement from the Open guys, especially those who had medals from prior years. I guess their medals were hard won so future medals should be won only thru similar struggle!
As a result: This years BSSG will see the Open Divisions sweating it out in the heat for the second round while the rest of us, including the new grand masters division, (for Pete) enjoy the shady saunter thru Pioneer. Look forward to seeing you on the course!
Big Sky State Games DG TD!!!
Thanks again for the great course layout (1st Black Diamond X, in the early morning and 2nd Pioneer) for the Masters this last year, Jim. My knees and my heart thank you most! See you next year, my friend.
