They are Philips I used a Fade Tourney bag and took apart the speakers. I had to unsolder the leads to install it into the bag. The wires run under the insert and took about 45 minutes to do. The portion that took the longest was screwing the speakers back together, getting the hole to line up properly without material in the way.
I wouldn't recommend any of these discs for disc golf, even though they are all approved. Many mid-range and putters perform similarly, but are, but more consistant. These old-school discs are more difficult to control, and don't fit in the bag. I also try to stay away from discontinued discs. The manufactures usually have good reason for getting rid of certain molds.
Threw the Jaguar, Barracuda, Condor and 71C* today. The Jaguar has such a large diameter that it flies and spins slowly. It holds the Hyzer/Anhyzer angles for most of the flight. It is somewhat understable. In one word - sluggish. The Barracuda flies more like the modern drvers, but less predictable, like the Scorpion. The Condor is like a cross between a lid and a disc golf driver. The 71C* is extremely straight, and flies a little longer than typical lid-type discs.
We need to get chris on the site. We should practice on tuesday after class. I dont have time for a round but I could throw a couple at a park or something.
Ahh a fellow Sterling Heights player. Good to see. Seven Star party store on Shelby road & 25 mile has a few hundred discs in stock. Actually quite a nice selection for a party store shelf. Not sure what disc was given away at the Gale Vaughn memorial in 08 but.. Gale was a friend of mine and a great guy. Threw tons of golf with him at Riverbends back in the day. Seeing his name on your post brought back some memories! Welcome.
