I played Weatherford this saturday at Ice Bowl. I really enjoyed the course, But if the info I got about summer time is true "poison Ivy" I may not play it as much as I would like. I can't afford to get that crap again. But the design and layout is great, I like the mature trees. Low ceilings work well with me

More than likely one round on Saturday (mini) and another on Sunday. A couple of us were thinking about playing the second eighteen that I'm thinking about proposing to the parks & rec sometime in 2010. Have to see if the land is available, raise some more money etc. but one of my buddies really wants me to show it to him so maybe instead of the regular course, we'll see.

Yeah, a good friend of mine did the layout and install. He let me know a week or two ago. I told him I'd spread the word. Someone is making a nice private course somewhere. That's like nine baskets stolen on this side of DFW this year alone.

they mow a few holes at a time, like ten was Monday, and one was yesterday, hopefully they'll finish eight today
I kinda like the way the mow the greens and fairways but leave the rough along the sides of the fairways
went out and played 2 rounds at weatherford sunday morning did very well had to really pick up slack on my 2nd throw on a few holes cause of trees but no problem. CITY OF WEATHERFORD NEEDS TO MOW!!!!
The death occured at Z-Boaz during the Thurs night mini, not Veterans. He was a Z-Boaz casual golfer. He had a heart attack on #18,....it could have been brought on by the heat.

we play wford at least 2xs a week... sunday mornings around 8am, got a small group out there most weeks. i love the course as it is my "home" course being 10mins up the road.
next thing you know you'll be getting a spade tattoo. progression just the way things go. i'll be out at ZBoaz this evening. went to the main street arts festival last night and saw Jimmy Vaughan. SRV brother. it was good.
