Hey Brother, How's it, You and your lady look very happy. I'm going to try to get down south next year!! If my back will let me. I can't wait to challenge you to another game of table chess. lol Bradness
North Park has changed alot since I first played there in 2002--poles and nets added throughout in 2005 I think. Have you played there in recent years? I guess it was much different a few years before I learned of the game, with most of the holes in much shorter positions. I'd love to bring you and Brian up there for a quick round next time your over this way for a tourney. Aaron Holley, Phil Lloyd, the Bishops, Mike Wagner and the gang would all come out if they knew you'd be there. I do know most of those guys you mentioned pretty well. Jeff Smith doesn't come out to NP much anymore, but I do get in alot of golf still with Philly and the Bishops. Phil and I have become good friends and I've been trying to get him out to throw as much as possible...he's still chucking it well. Dave McAdden was a good friend to all of the regulars at North Park, and he's dearly missed by many as you know. He was an excellent player and a genuinely good person-- I miss seeing him throw his patented trick shots at NP-- he taught alot of us how to play and was always willing to share his ideas.
I'd love to make it over to the doubles tourney, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to make it. I really enjoyed playing against Brian at Steilly-- he's a good kid and has a wicked side-arm... I see he edged you out for first in a recent tourney-- guess you taught him well. Are you guys doubles partners?
Gotta run, my 4 year old boy Jake wants to play-- take care,
I saw Markham this morning, and gave him the message and the hug, yes, he was blown away. He looked at me and said, "i haven't heard that for 15 years". Made his day. Did you know that he's a dad? They had a boy, Brady at the end of August.
I tried to let him know about this site, maybe someday soon he'll jump on board.
Be well, leaving for Players Cup on wednesday, can't wait.
