Hey Whitler Charles Sullivan here. Just wanted to send you a personal envite to the Buffalo City Open in Jamestown, ND. This event will be July 10th and the 11th. Once again we have raised up some serious cash for the pros. Darrell Nodland has given his Nod and will be there. Here is the PDGA link http://www.pdga.com/event?TournID=10435
It would be great to see you here in North Dakota.
Mr. Whitlock it is good to hear from you. I reserved a room but was going to cancel it as I decided to camp instead. Your friend can have that room or, if he desires, camp too. I will be staying on one of the courses; Alum Miller I believe.
"have i tried snap discs?"...funny you should ask...it just so happens my "whitler" arrived in the mail yesterday. i took it out for a test drive after it came - and the results were disappointing. whenever i would put juice on it, it would peel off and drive itself into the ground. if i gave it frisbee finesse, it would fly straight - but none too far. HOWEVER, TODAY i decide to hit a basket at the course for putting practice, and happened to pack it. after i was done, and was putting my putters away, i saw it sticking out, and decided to give it another try. WELL, after working some on my release - (the disc seems very wrist-oriented) - i turned my attention to throwing it at the basket - this baby was uncanny - it not only went right where i pointed, but it travelled in almost slow-motion, hovered over the basket - then dropped right in! again and again. other putters seem like you are throwing dead weight - the whitler seems like it's floating on air...you can bet i will be working with it more...
I'm sorry Glen. I just assumed the puppies were minis because the package was so light....Mike was very pleased with his and knew exactly what it was going to do for him. I haven't played for a bit because I have side jobs coming out my ears (but I'm not complaining). I will be playing more though because the school up the road is putting in a course as i write. It' will be very nice to be able to walk to a course rather than an hour round trip to play. I'm excited!
