His family had a surprise party for his 50th birthday a couple of summers ago...they held it at White Birch (what better way to make sure he would be there!) When I ran that course I usually got my discs from Rothstein, but for a little while I went with a to-remain-nameless local disc golf businessman who ran out of discs and sent me a shipment of stuff he had laying around. There were about 30 Super Puppies in that shipment. Rather than make a big stink about it, I just dropped his contract and went back to DGW and used the Super Puppies for a "classic disc" event. Actually, the worst part was all the green and purple HD Hawks he loaded me down with. I was still selling green and purple HD Hawks five years after that!

If interested Im fairly certain we might be able to trade something on the lighter one. I also have one of the dga putters, cant think of the name of the thing at the moment. Its green, kind of reminds me of the hooker with a deeper dish. Still have the puppies too. They are the dynamic disc version. Both unthrown from like 91-92, no edge cracks. I also have the large 23.55cm version of the kittyhawk, made by ben wall. If you look at the pics on my page here the lighter kitty is in a pic with both putters on top, also pic number 77. Most of my older stuff is not listed anywhere. Also have the wham-o mold that was in the players pack at 95 worlds. Cant remember what its called at the moment either. Anyway let me know if your interested in anything. We will work something out if possible, hope you have a happy new year.

Unfortunatly he died before I moved up here, so I never got to meet him, or play his course. All the old school players that I play with said that his course was one of the best courses ever, and that X-man was one of the coolest golfers to ever play on the North Coast. Some of my old school buddys were planing on taking me up to Farther Up a Tree, a course on the property right next to where Up a Tree used to be. What other courses have you played around Humboldt?

What types of discs do you have for sale? I'm allways interested in more plastic.
