Good thoughts Chuck. I ordered some business cards with basic info on them to get word out on women's disc golf in the metro area. 2 weeks til they are in. We are discussing it on the outreach committee.
Superclass would be easy for the women to pick up in comparison to DG. I'll see what I can do to promote it amidst my busy schedule!
oh yeah, i did not notice jordan's frog pond hole in your pictures . I like the camera angle (position) you took for that one. The last 2 holes at jordan( across the street ) are no longer there so the frog pond hole is now hole 7 and the other one with the hugging tree is now # 9. You have an incredible memory to remember those hole numbers from 2005 especially with the vast amount of courses you have seen. By the way last summer i went to minnesota and i went on the yahoo message board to ask about the local courses and got a lot of good responses including 1 from you. so thanks for that. I played on 7 total over there. If you remember i came back on the message board and wrote a semi review of what i saw. Not sure if you remember that or not.
also i just recognized jordan creek's photo (photo number 14). Sadly that dead tree that was hugging the basket has broken apart and just the basket is there. All concrete tee pads have been installed at that course.
Hi Chuck i am from Pennsylvania and it is nice to see you have some of your favorite courses listed from there. You have many stunning disc golf photos as well and i do believe i am recognizing picture # 24 as current hole 4 at the little lehigh parkway in Allentown.
Hey Chuck, I just got in from 9 holes of pitch and putt, just to prove I could! Trouble is all I proved is that I couldn't hit a single birdie putt today!! LOL You know how cold it is! (At least if you are home in the cities.) It really is a good time for indoor disc golf or being a snowbird.
