Hey Shel,

Yes the music club is growing. Hopefully more people will post their tunz. And where are all the girls?!? Except for you it's a boys club! I didn't spend years practicing and honing my craft so I could meet GUYS! Ha!

Your nickname Shel? I have a brother named Shell, but it is spelled Kjell. Anyway, happy discin!
You may have the picture on 2 conditions:
1, You promise to play the course someday (it's my personal 9, the local course; the rimrock has equally stunning terrain.
2. You spell thief correctly from hence forth, as a thief, well more of a poacher, I'm highly offended :)

Download MEDA CD Ripper. With this program you put in one of your personal CDs rip the tracks you want to MP3 and they should easily upload to this site. It is what I've been using and it seems to work great (unless I'm still jamming with Tool in which case it doesn't work!)

I always wanted to jam with Tool and you made it happen! Thanks!
You should definitely join it's not just for players; it's for folks who wouldn't want to live a single day without tunes!
I plan on starting discussions tha include unknown bands that need more exposure, concert and album reviews, etc.
As for playing... you should! If nothing more than for your own enjoyment. I have a friend (also a sexy nurse) who picked up the bass when she was 43. 5 years later... she rips! She plays out in SLC all the time. Besides the world definitely need more hot babes cranking out the tunes!

Hey Shel,
Are the tunes working? Remember my songs are demos not finished recordings!
yeah I work but I have a laptop with a verizon air card, so I have it with me all the time. I sit in my recliner at night watching tv and chatting on the live chat. the reason it looks like I'm always on is because I hardly ever close the window so even if I'm away and working it looks like i'm on the chat! you could call me mr norbert carter, but I'd just as soon be called Nibs!

Hey Grrrrl!
Got back from the River Rescue course. It SNOWED the whole time. swimming through ice chunks in a blizzard with abunch of whiny participants (THEY signed up for a river course in February and it's MY fault). I guess I should have been an accountant...
Any way managed to thaw out, I had a friend who is a nurse chew me out and she says everything appears to be in working order.
While I was gone I had a friend try and upload songs, apparently with little success. All my recordings are either WAV files (not compressed) or ACC (itunes, compressed). Do they have to be MP3s if so what is the best way to convert my files. I would like to add some tunes just don't know how.
gotta run, going on a short backcountry ski tour, we've got lots of fresh snow so the powder shoud be great! I'll write back and tell you whats in my bag (well at least my disc golf bag!)
It is true I am a disc golf BUM. A church going, hard working, married to the same great lady for 13 years, disc golf bum! Love this sight almost as much as disc golf itself!
Thanks Shel,
I hope your back will make a full recovery. Oh yeah, I agree about the XS is a great disc. I have a favorite Z-XS that I still use in windy conditions. Great backup discs. My fav driver is the Pro-Line Orc, in the 157-159gr. range. Very sweet if you can find them. Seems they will do anything you ask of them.
Take care and Thank You again, Discgnome
Saw your web page here, thought the cart you have is very kool. Do you mind telling me where you got this and how much they are. I myself use a 3-wheel stroller which works good, but definitely not as good as yours. Thanks Discgnome
Hmm.. Well I throw a lot of stuff... but in my bag... esp Surge (I LOVE IT!!!) Star Monster (Love it!) Z Predator (beat in perfect) Crystal Buzz, Z-Buzz Z-Glide (new favorite) Star Stingray (best understable disc!) Champion Beast, Champion Firebird (skipper) Champion Leopard. and I switch add about 2 depending on the course.. Oh.. I putt with soft magnets.. I always carry at least 2 each round! (practice)
The Femillz event has been scheduled for July 12th.
Join my Femillz Club or group please and spread the word to all the ladies you talk to about joining it even if they can't make it to MI. the prizes given away may entice them to come up.

Hey- it's suppose to be in the 60's this weekend with mild winds! Wanna plan to meet up? Don't care if it's OKC or Norman. Might be muddy though.
Are you going down to Austin for TWC this year? It's April 26th and 27th.

Over the years i've played in every kind of band imaginable (rock, blues, jazz, country, punk, folk, old timey, reggae and bluegrass). guess I never played in a polka band, better get on it.
i'm typically a lead singer/frontman (front person?) and I play harp (AKA harmonica). My favorite music to play is originals. I write quite a bit (fiction, non fiction and poetry) so I enjoy writing lyrics (a bad poem often makes a great song, funny how that works...). Besides when you play originals people don't know if you royally botch it because they don't know how the song is suppose to go!
I typically wtire in the blues/rock, roots/Americana alt country vein. I'll post some of my recordings when I have access to a high speed connection.
