Do I ski? that would be a definite yes. (I've worked on and off as both a patroller and backcountry ski guide for 15+ years. Solitude is a ski resort, not my favorite (that would be Alta or Snowbird) but a good place to ski. That what's great about skiing the Wasatch (SLC), seven great resorts 45 minutes away. I've never skied OK, if was in the area I'd probably opt for a football game! Living in Norman you must either love or hate football, no middle ground.
Solitude to golf on the other hand is out of this world! It's Alpine DG no doubt; lots of hiking and lost discs, crazy weather and wind. In my not so humble opinion, park courses don't hold a candle to alpine courses (For example 18 at Solitude is 1250 ft PAR 3! You throw from the top of a black diamond run all the wat to the base; your disc just goles and goes and goes.) If you havent played in the mountains (or desert, my favorite) you haven't played! They have a tourney over Labor Day you might be interested in.

This event is a little different i believe then most tournaments i try to stress the fun of the event, while yes there is competition. in 2007 i had 43 ladies and after the 100% payouts all the AM's got a players pack (retail value of $45.00 or so) and after words I gave away another $8000-$9000 in merch to all the ladies, via raffles or just straight hand-outs. I make it about the fun and getting as many ladies to be there as i can gather. Come back to MI and have some fun.

Thanks for the pic comment!!! We are a hardy bunch so weather doesn't stop us LOL. There is something to be said about winter golf. nothing flies as far so you really have to rip it. Then comes spring and the throws gain some distance. I get out every chance I get, even if I have to create them LOL. Hope You have a Wonderful Week!!!
