At 4:29pm on June 29, 2011, Joshua Knutson said…: The speed of a disc comes from the width of the rim, a Wraith will have the exact same width as the Archon and the Vulcan's is Wider. The archon top looked to me like a more compressed down Beast. The only disc I've found that has the flat edges and domed middle of the Vulcan is the Flow, but the Flow doesn't go as high up as the Vulcan. I think that design is how the have such a high glide rating and high speed.

The Archons top is consistenty curved and rather flat, while the Vulcan has about an inch and 1/2 ring around the disc that turns into a really domey top. Vulcan is a max speed disc, Archon 11, but if it holds the line I'm getting one. Might have to search for another CFR.

You really never know what their new releases are gonna do just based off numbers. What discs would you compare it to?

At 9:45am on December 27, 2010, Dan Wilkinson said…: We'll be driving back home on the 2nd. We got in PCB yesterday evening and I think we brought the cold and snow with us. We drove in snow and ice until about halfway between Birmingham and Montgomery AL. There were snow flurries all the way to the FL state line. It is supposed to warm back up to normal the rest of the week though :-)

What we did have was about 75% gone. We have had snow on the ground for 24 days in a row and it doesn't look like it will be going away anytime soon. I am so looking forward to playing some disc golf without snow :-)
