Hey Man !! Thanks for stopping in brotha. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving too. I'm still begging my ol' lady to buy me a Revolution bag for Christmas..(She wants to know why it cost 150 bucks for a back pack.. lol )
I figured my banner could use a new face lift. I'm not sure If I'll go seasonal after the holidays but... It'll be good for a month or so. dude.. take it easy and don't break your leg.
Hey John, Do you mind making a forum post showing us non-coders how the heck you organized your photos on your profile? I know the current photo up-loader has it's flaws in organization of pictures.. I'm sure a lot of people would like to know another way of dealing with it. Much appreciated man.. Take it easy
The bike in those pictures is a '73 model Maico 125 (with a rotory valve induction system like the old Kawi 125s). I also raced a 450 Maico (not pictured). The two pictures at the top are from a MX track at the Rhein-Mein US airbase (circa 1974) outside of Frankfurt Germany (that airbase is now closed) and my avatar is from a track somewhere in Germany. I was 16 at the time those pics were taken.
I will keep on posting my travel plans and tounaments at the IG club and if I do make it to western CO I will contact you via DGRUS.
John, I found your International Grandmasters Club a few days ago and joined. I posted my schedule there...right now I am playing in a team tourney at the lodge next Saturday the 8th and the weekend after that at the Horseshoe Canyonfest on the 15th and 16th in Jasper, AR. Thanks for the club.
Each time I see your Photo here- in the Chat windows - Geezers everywhere -you remind me of TOM WILSON a guy I know from "Blackie and Rodeo Kings"and Junkhouse. Records at Vibestudio ~people I know.

Nice work on that hot round and on accepting your first Pro cash John! It's good to hear you have healed enough to play again! It's no fun being on the injured list! I was only on it for weeks two summers ago and I hated it. Don't know how you made it through!
Pssh... no winter play? C'mon. Haha. We get snow in MN (I guess not as much) and we for sure get the cold (hit -40 last winter) and we still play ALL winter. The St. Cloud Ice Bowl (Biggest Ice Bowl fundraiser in the world for the past few years) played in 4 degree weather last year. I remember it got "warm" out when it hit -7 at one point so my bro and I went and threw a round! I guess I've caught the DG bug.
Hope you can enjoy a few more casual rounds before that snow hits! I'm hoping to go on tour with a few friends next summer (they are working on starting a DG business, sponsoring me, and hitting at least all the NTs and majors next year). Hopefully that will all work out! If not, I plan on making a stop through the Denver area on my way to some discin and snowboarding in Oregon next summer! If I do make it through CO we might have to meet up and throw a round on an awesome CO course!
haha.. yeah .. Probably the Only song that fits within the game on my huge track list. I've seen a couple of disc golf videos with that Filter track in them. Thanks again for the CSS advice. I was wondering how to get that discgolfersRus off of my banner. sweeeeet.
I met Chris Kinsella at Worlds, who mentioned meeting you at the St. Louis Open. Super nice guy, and very fun tournament. Best vacation I've had in a very long time, just disc golf all day, every day. YAHOO!!
glad to hear about 20 for open doubles, i will try to make it the next few weeks, but i had family in town last few nights. good luck with the leg healing.
John,
Read your (bio).
Interesting how artists tend to be in disc golf.
I also went to Art School (The Corcoran in Washington, D.C.).
Sure the atmosphere was a little different than in CO.
Did you do the art for the latest Innova ROC's? San Marino, etc.
Got those tapes yesterday, can't thank you enough... I can already sense my game getting stronger even though I have yet to play since reading/watching them. You rock and I'll have them back in a week or so.
About my summer so far... SWEET!!! I've played Golden Gate, Berkeley, Lakeport (5th place:/ ), De La, Black Mouse, Aptos High, Shaeffer Park and Monterey! Finally catching up! I still have a lot of work left, disc golfing is a hard hobby, but somebody's gotta take it seriously!! What's your summer song of courses played?
