Thanks for the sofa last night! It was great seeing you again and sorry I had to run off so quickly. Was tired & just wanted to get home as soon as I can. Glad that the weather held up nicely over the weekend & it wasn't that bad today....except for the gusting winds that forced me to play a bit conservative more than I'd like, especially when I'm putting.
Definitely! Just waited til the last minute to sign-up for the STB this morning. My girlfriend's spending the weekend with me & we'll be heading up to play several courses in the Mid-Ohio area in a couple hours. My game's still improving & I've played much better this year for the most part. Cashed in almost half of my tourneys as well & hoping to do so at the STB too. Looking forward to seeing you again up there!
I had a blast that was my first glow event and cant wait for the next. Great layout on the course, Parma boys and girls enjoyed the time. Wonderful hosts makes things go well, Thanks Shep Tom,Mike and Larry!
Hi Shep - looking forward to Saturday. I'm gonna play both the singles and the Glo round with you and Larry. I have a UV flashlight, works well and I'm expecting a glo disc tomorrow or Friday. Do we need to register in advance, or when we arrive? This should be fun!!!
Yo Shep, I'm doing good and have been playing very well the last few weeks. Took last weekend off to rest my strained groin & thigh. I'm back to 100% right now and ready for the Ohio River Open tourney this weekend at my home course. My putting has been more consistent now & still improving. Played well enough to place in my last tournament - Pleasant Valley Disc Golf Classic in Fairmont, WV. I left at least 10 out there though with one 7 in the 1st round at the Orange Crush on 18 as my disc hit the tree hard enough when I was trying to throw a tomahawk & somehow went all the way across the road & into private property. lol Then there's that 6 where I've had two roll aways & one of them went out of bounds. Other than that, my overall game was great.
Yes, feel free to send him my phone number - I'd like to get together with him to play the course down there. Glad you had a good time - hopefully we can get together to play sometime soon. Well, I'm off for a rare round of ball golf (gasp!!), catch you later!
Sorry to miss the picnic - it sounded like fun. We're in Auburn, MA - played Pyramids this evening, great course. Maple Hill tomorrow - then on to Concord, NH to play a course there. Hoping for 7 courses in five days. Also picked up some good stuff at Marshall Street. Say hi to your family, Bob
Thanks for the greeting and invitations. If I lived closer I'd be playing the scrambles and leagues at Lakesore Park, it's a great course. I just hope to make it out once a year. Usually do, and make a day of it.
Heading down to Roscoe-Ewing Park tomorrow in Medina. Big pro tourney this weekend. I was there today after work and got to watch Dave Feldberg, Niko Locastro, Nate Doss, Geoff Bennett, and Avery Jenkins play some practice holes. Saw Avery ace hole 10 with an awesome forehand shot.
Thanks again! And maybe we will see you on the course one day.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune with injuries.Good thing It shouldn't take long to get back where you were before.
Game is good....a had few aces this year...nothing too spectacular....mostly short holes. Thinking about trying the new R Boss. A fast lighter understable version made out of grippy plastic blend.
Going to the track tonight for the Nationwide race...working tomorrow out there for Buckcherry...the pre-race entertainment. Probably will be riding on the stage off pit road after their done....holding guitars, amps, mic stands from falling during the ride....hard work ya know...lol!!!
be cool up there....literally (drink plenty of fluids)...and get out there and keep chucking and hucking.
