BBL? The plan is to have 9 baskets ordered and installed by the end of this month. We'll have to generate the monies dfor the other 9 baskets after that goal is reached, and the first nine holes are in the ground.
Actually no. That message was for some people who wanted to sign up for our Club on this site but were unable to prior to recieving an invitation. They should be able to now though.
And you should be thinking about BNB, 'cuase who knows when we will ever be able to get back there. I am renting the place for Steve's tourney only as it is right now.
Thanks for the comment on my page, its awesome to find some people who agree with my views on how we can evolve as a sport. I think there's a lot more of us, but some have been intimidated into not voicing their opinion on forums like this one. I'm not convinced that Mark necessarily believes everything he put in that thread though, I think it may have been done to encourage some heated debate on the topic, which it certainly achieved! Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's opinions (even though I think some of them are poison for our game). I guess freeloaders don't need to worry about convincing councils and sponsors to shell out big money or allocate land for a disc golf course, so why should they care about how the game is perceived? Sorry to hear about your local course being under threat, if our course was closed, I would be devastated! Keep me posted on how you guys are going with fighting the good fight. Thanks again.
Defiinitely lots of fun! Except for the part where my car breaks down and costs me $500 to fix!!! Speaking of Pete, he's here at my house right now!!! Came down for a quicky visit no less. Probably gonna play up at our course this afternoon (not sure when), if you're interested. Probably could use some help fighting him off. I've got the Number One, and I don't wanna let him take it back to Tahoe!!! DOH.... Delete Comment
Mark,
You have made some very valid points on the "image of the sport" We are of the same mindset on that. Too bad cavemen don't read. The sport is so fantastic, those things will just take care of themselves.
I appologize for my comments earlier on your Shasta event. I'm over that now.
Cheers for the words of encouragement. The best way to get what you want is to do it yourself. I have not found a disc golf virgin, that i have taken out for a throw, that has not loved the game. Unfortunately no-one here has ever heard of the game, let alone seen or played it. We have less than 10 courses in the country and only 1 within 500 miles!!!
Must keep manufacturing my 6' pvc piping tone poles for the big game on sunday on my course. Keep ya posted.
Hope you have a great chuck.

Never mistake my adoring support of the PDGA as unmitigated! :) With out critical voices we'd never know when we were wrong, and I'm often wrong. Glad to see you here, rational voices, even conservative ones, are too infrequent!
I am saddened by what the PDGA site has become, this place is much healthier and way more enjoyable. BTW - I agree with your comments on FDM! Cripes, my wife would never say anything, but my kids can't read yet. Why in the world do we need to be puerile? So teenagers will play? They need to look at what the core of the membership is, it's us old guys! Who happen to rule btw.
I have already sent a list to him, but he didn't make any changes when he updated the list.... He knows you are paid in full. You can give it to me when I see you at Shasta and I will give JD he money for all of us Chico players...
I believe it will be one of my only open events this year, I did beat some good players out there last year. Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, I have the flyer in front of me now.
