I would love to go, and play Pro Worlds for my first time, but it sort of depends on my cousin's wedding. I was told by my dad that I should plan to be there since I missed my other cousin's wedding because of disc golf. We'll see, but I would love to go as I hear there are some sweet courses in KC. If you are playing the am side you will be battling with my friend Sean Phillips who will be going as an am AGAIN this year. He's been twice so far and hasn't done as well as he'd hoped, so although he's definitely playing at the pro level, he's maintaining his am status because he wants to win Am Worlds before he goes pro. I'm probably not as strong of a player as either of you according to the numbers, but my age is about to qualify me to play masters, so I would like to try my hand at Pro Worlds once before I go that route. If we are both there though, we will definitely have to play a warm up round or two together. Good to hear from you as I wondered what ever happened to you.

What up fool, seems like every time I find a site that is cool, your already a memeber. GO FIGURE! Just droppin a line while i was lookin around
Looks to me like your season is going pretty well so far, eh? Keep up the good play and you'll be ready to move up pretty soon if you ask me. Are you going to worlds in August? I think you should play am worlds this year (its now open to everyone for sign-ups), then go pro, but that's just my opinion. If you do, we might get to play a round or two together...
I was glad to hear from you this morning because I was starting to wonder what happened. I re-sent it, so if it didn't get through this time, let me know again. I think I learned a couple of things this week about putting and I'm going in as a pro this weekend for an extra $5. Hopefully I can keep it respectable, rain or shine. When are you playing another one? -T
I got your email, did you get mine? Let me know if there's a problem. Gotta run to work this morning but I can check my emails there. I hope all is well. Looks like we are going to have crap weather here for several days to come. BOOO!
Cool, that would be perfect. You get the disc you want and I get to play the tournament I want to play. Is there a Bank of America near you? Maybe I could just have you deposit the cash. That way I can avoid giving any of it to paypal and ebay for once! If you wouldn't mind, send me an email at email@example.com and we'll work out the details in a less public forum... -Torrey
I watched your numbers last week and you did very well, I thought. Even though a few others came on stronger in the end, you played consistently, which will pay off in the long run. It sucks to do well and then have a blow up round, which I have done too many times. I prefer not to be in the lead going into the last round actually. Its tough to keep it together when you are in the lead, and I've witnessed more people (including myself) crumble than hold strong. No matter what, I'm sure you came away with some good knowledge for future tournaments. Speaking of which, if you still want the Destroyer I could really use the money to buy myself into a tournament that is coming up that I want to play. If not, no big deal, but I need to know pretty soon so I can find another buyer. I hope all is well. Talk to you soon.
I was kind of surprised not to get a bid on one of those destroyers because there were so many people watching the auction. I think maybe a Friday night finish isn't ideal. Anyway, its yours if you want it (light blue and purple, right?). I hope your tournament goes well this weekend. If it doesn't, learn from your mistakes. Watch the lead card of the masters division play if you get a chance. Those guys may not have the biggest arms out there, but their consistency is amazing. Have fun and let me know about the destroyer. -Torrey
Yeah, I love this site. I see that you are a new PDGA member. Congrats. Once you start playing tournaments and getting ratings, it will only serve to motivate you more. You might get a little overly conscious the first couple of tournaments and not play to your potential, like I did, but then you'll get over that and learn to just play your game and have fun. Thats the key. Well, I haven't had any bids yet on the destroyer auctions I have running, but there are a lot of watchers. If you want the light blue and purple one, I can pull the auction and I'll sell it to you for $60 + $7 for shipping. I just didn't feel like it was worth selling it for less than that. Unfortunately I need the cash pretty badly right now, or I might consider a trade of some sort. I guess if you had a USDGC Roc in that price range I would still consider it. Are you familiar with the CERoccollector site? Thats a good resource to know about if you collect those rocs. Let me know if you are interested. Usually I love trades. -Torrey
