Yeah I am headed home, but playing too much along the way (76 holes today). Thanks for doing the map thingy.
One day I wrote a blog for 2 days but didn't put two dates, but that doesn't really matter and I'll never figure out when it was, it was like a month ago.
I have played Show Low and Sipapu..never forget parking a downhill 550' tunnel with a Roc! missed gray hare due to daylight concerns..had to pick one or the other last time. pinetop lakeside is probably out of the question and the way..skipping pecole because if it is technical trespass I don't want to bother..plus its too dang hot
just played kingman..long drive back to vegas now..to play that other one..the private course says for resodents only? so..
then up to brian head, utah which has been on the list for a long time to play..down througgh arizona to tucson probably play new NAU since its a new course..played old THE day it got removed.
Cool, they have brand new Mach-2's now..just about as good as homemade baskets made of wood! I'd prefer they kept the old ones..they were all piled up next to a shed, I put up a picture of them. I had about 6 bounce-outs on those Mach-2's, but the drive stuck!
Which homemade baskets?
I am playing Low Gap in the morning, then the other one in town, then camping/playing KOA in Willits.
Already played Stafford Lake (2006) and it's an experience I don't want to re-live..chest high grass and blind shots over trees..2 lost discs on first 3 holes!
I don't know if I'll make it down to San Diego because I've already been to Morley and Emerald Isle. We will have to see..it might end up being too far south to go before heading into Arizona. BTW that Top Secret Area 74 course can be listed as Arcata..it's about 10 miles from there and the owner doesn't want people to know about it. Much thanks.
