Lot's of collection stories. Too many to remember actually.
I just heard from an old Ultimate player who found me here.He told me that I traded him a bunch of 141's for a Pluto Platter years ago. He needed the Frisbees for distance competion. I still have the Plater.

Nice! Dunipace is the man that knows lots about distance. I am still amazed that he was able to throw those 40 molds over 450' to set world records back in the day. Val and I are making plans to go to "Big D in the Desert" this April to set some world records of our own. I am looking to crack at least the 200 meter mark, Val on the other hand has to throw 140 meters (460') to break the Womens world record. She has been training harder then ever to accomplish that feat and I am positive that she will do it. I will keep you posted. Hope to see you on the tour sometime soon.

Well, now I'm even more excited than ever to see the groundbreaking first issue of FDM! ... Can't wait to see what pic (of Jay's) that you chose for the cover. I was going to send in a couple sexy pics of galaxies (from public domain) to remind us of the hundreds of billions of the greatest "flying discs" that exist in the Universe! The Creator must be the greatest flying disc manufacturer and must truly be the greatest flying disc player in history, eh?

rocky neck - YES that's exactly what we're thinking.

today is a typical day... going to drive out to norwalk to play cranbury. so i'll be in the car for about 3 hours to play 2 rounds of casual golf.

i know you come here to visit, but if you have time to play a round, give me a shout. closest course, as you know, is ~1 hour drive... manchester (closed in winter), west thompson, and buffumville are the closest.

I think it's important to give a little bit back to this game we so cherrish. Let me know when Pymatuming is finished, so I can come back and play a round with you the next time.

Great talking with you on the phone. FDM will be the most anticipated object to come to me in my mail -in a long time! We DID send you a copy of Heave H.O.E. on DVD (didn't we?) My memory is going.... another birthday this week. 48 times around the sun.. still going.

sure did. i left the cleveland biotech scene (what scene, right) to join the scientists at pfizer. there is a solid crew of golfers here and they've been the biggest part of making it an easy move. but it's an odd place to live. for example, it's raining cats & dogs right now. winter is broken on the CT shoreline.
