If you are not working Saturday you should play Northern Waters #1 at Flip City. It is a sanctioned C-Tier and women that have not played in NWs events get to play for half price all year. That means about $20 for you to play and they calculate payouts as if you paid full price. Jen Kuehle and my girlfriend Kim Scott will both be there and I expect that Jen from Muskegon will be there also.
I'm trying to let all the CCR players know that permanent baskets are going in the ground today and tomorrow at Willow Brook Golf Course in Byron, Michigan. We are having a Grand Opening Doubles tournament Saturday, April 5, 2008. BYO partner. Divisions are based on you and your partner's average rating, so you can partner up with someone you might not otherwise be able to play divisional doubles with, like your wife or novice buddy, and play in the division that puts you in.

Get some practice in on Hickory so you can come on June 28th for the AAA sponsored tournament. Let me know when your coming to town and if I got time, I'll try to get a round in with ya.
Did you get the message about the Disc Golf Song? The band is really good that is doing it. Our club is pretty stoked about it...
Hard at work? OMG We went to Miles Kimmerly Sunday, what were we thinking? Snow was 6 inches above our knee caps deep in some areas. Took us nearly 2 hours to play 9 baskets and I was couch food the rest of the day. You been playing at all?
Uhhhhhhhhh Are you questioning my work ethic lol Ya know I run hot & cold but I've won a few trips in the past and made pacesetter level for the last 3 years. I've worked pretty hard my whole life and it's not as important to me these days. My attention is more so towards my kids and Disc Golf.
How about you? How long have you worked for AAA and what do you do exactly? This site is cool don't you think?
OH, believe me, I've had a couple go in there...I usually get them back though. Most people that play there are good about calling you when they find your disc.
I've been in Michigan all my life, so yes, I've been to TC vacationing many times over the years. Great area.
So are you getting much work done or just sufing the web today...ha ha. I'm at work right now myself.
Well you found the best course 4 Sure. Maple City has a really pretty course and I've picked Morel mushrooms at both of them too. Yeah that pond scared me, a disc in there would be hard to retrieve. Grand Woods yeah, is there any other good courses around you?
Have you been coming to TC long? I mean vacationing?
Hmmmmmm Politics, I'm not very good at that. Well other than my own clients I guess. Do you work with Mr. Zilloofo ( not sure if thats how his name is spelled) His brother is a brain surgeon here and our sons are friends.
Ribbons are a good thing even in just a couple inches. I have a good technique for taping. The ribbon ( Red is a good color) should extend from the center of the bottom so it doesn't spin around slowing your disc and getting all curly. Double layer tape so it overlaps the ribbon and the first layer of tape. Should stay much longer that way.
I got beat both days this weekend but I don't feel too bad, my 2 buddys play Pro Masters. I was 4 throws behind them, Putting was a little off.
Have you been coming to Traverse for a long time? Have you played any other courses here? I played a course in Lansing a few years ago, it was layed out around a muddy pond.
Thanks for signing on as one of my friends and don't forget, The Nomination Station is where you nominate friends (or yourself) for a randomly picked MAJOR AWARD. Please download and vote for the Peace Dude Flyer, making certain to post it at the courses, the disc golf stores, on all your friends front doors and 2 on your medicine cabinet mirror.
Check "my bag" from time to time to hear some fun music, read my goofy blogs, see some killer disc designs and other offerings by michiganartist and watch for great ideas that will change the world. Let's start with a little thing like peace for all and a disc golf course within walking distance for every human inhabitant worldwide. . . Now get your discs, get to the nearest course and godiscn ! Cheers from the michiganartist, lil charlie bishop, craig or you may in fact, call me god@godiscn.com, if you like.
3 degrees? I thought Illinois was cold. Last few days it has gone from 0 to 45. Forecast is for close to 55-60 tomorrow. Hard to throw when it's too cold. Trying not to break any discs when the temp is 0 or below.

I got AAA to sponser our league this year.
Yes I shot around today in Kingsley and will be out tomorrow to Kalkaska.
And Yes, I'm obsessed with this game if you didn't know that yet. How often do you play? It's a good sign that your out there in the white stuff.
