Phil i get the impression that you aren't using this site to its full potential. i have found it very helpful for attracting players to league and events even more so this year as we have started using it.
You should be thinking the same way for AM Nationals!
I don't see any problem with the timing of the Philly Open. We will not be full yet. If you qualify, do not wait to get your money in as this year may fill up sooner than most. There is one in NC that's earlier. Little bit of a drive. Yes Michigan tends to get the most players but trust me it's not intentional. We have the best players - ha ha. Would love see it equal out and that's why we added some B-tiers in states that don't have any qualifiers. I also want to involve July-Dec, which in the past was not a lot of qualifiers. Remember that we do have qualifing the week of and that's what tends to get more Mich people in. Hope this helps and look forward to seeing you there.
Philip, I saw your post on the AM Nationals discussion... I wanted to know if it's easier to qualify and be able to play in the AM nationals if you are from another state. Seeing as most of the people playing are from MI, I would think they would encourage people from other states to play... The qualifier for my area isn't till April (Philidelphia Open)... if I continue my current playing level I should make the cut and qualify... so I wanted to know if I do qualify and hurry with my entry fee would I have a good shot of playing because I'm in a state other than MI? Or is it non-state bias...
