Just a few pics that were taken at the Sarasota Ams.
It was a pleasure to finally meet you. Sorry about not playing a round with you. Pattie had left on Wednesday and I had not access to a computer so I didn't get the message about you and Pattie teaming up against me. Maybe next.
My dad went through a lot in his life. And these troubles made him older than what he was. He was a fighter and was able to conquer everything. But in the end, it was a "PEANUT BUTTER" sandwich that did him in. He was at dialsys eatting that sandwich (he was on a special diet) when he started choking. No one was able to remove that sandwich from his throat and he was without oxygen for a long time. By the time he made it to the hospital via ambulance, it was too late. He was brain dead. The following days, the rest of his body shut down. It was tough telling the hospital to pull the plug (Life Support), and watch him die. I am thankfull though that I was there and that I got to say my piece in order to let him go in peace.
When you had mentioned the idea of a TARDIS disc, it struck a creative nerve in my mind. And since I wanted to learn how to decorate Discs, I thought that your idea would be a good way to start. Hope you enjoy it, it was a novel idea.
My ultimate goal is to create a stencil of my father (Died on the 07th of July 2010) and decorate a disc with it. This way, when ever I play Disc golf, I'll have my father with me.
Hey Mr. Ed....actually, Cubby appears to have made a disc golf resurrection of sorts. Him and I played in the Pro-Division at the C-Tier Rutgers St. Patricks O'Madness Tournament. Out of eight I came in 6th or 7th and Cubby tied Matt LaCourte for second place. He didnt take money to maintain AM status but he played like the old Cubby....Cubby is still doing the Disc Golf monthly with our other Pal Tom Kady. Luckily we are far away from Camden and arent affected by all their nonsense. I expect that Cubby will be posting more often. Keep in touch....mag
Mt Airy has a local tourney scheduled in August, besides that they have a Saturday afternoon draw doubles about noon start time. Even then they don't fill the course with players.
Not sure if you're set on playing Mt Airy, which is a great choice btw, but if you'd like suggestions I'd be happy to make them and even show you the course. Ever play Cabin Creek? The private course here. I could make an appointment for that if it's an interest to you. Or Lincoln Ridge in N Ky. A really fun 24 hole course.
Let me know when the dates get closer and maybe we can hook up for a round of golf.
Great to hear Mr Ed! There was a little hold up, but things are looking good, the mold is done and I think the small prototype run has been ran... just waiting to see them first hand, then it's off to PDGA... better late then never!
I also have a driver I am working on, First one is under stable.... Then I want to do a nice over stable driver. Maybe one mid-range as well.... should have about 5 disc's by summer time.
Thank you for worrying. It is a Japanese in history maximum-scale earthquake and tsunami. I cannot still regard communication as the family of the wife. I am very anxious.
Have S Line & C Line (Star & Champion) TD DiscMania, Not up on my site yet....Shoot me an email and I'll discuss pricing with FREE SHIPPING.Your are in Florida correct?
Mr Ed you are great! I love how you add Rip Disc Golf in there with the other putters. Here is a little update of whats going on. The two putter molds are finished and ready to run a few to test then send to PDGA, I am hoping within the week to have them send in.
I am also looking at releasing two drivers and maybe a mid-range disc within the next 6-8 weeks. I'll keep you posted with the the happenings of RDG.
LOL. Yes it is quite the cart. It works well when I play with my son on a relatively flat course in Madison, WI. Everyone thinks we're pushing a baby! It carries everything for those all day events. The cart got good (intended) use back when my kids were small and I used to bicycle a lot.I paid over $300.00 for it 17 years ago. It is still in excellent shape and figured I could put it to good use again by lugging all my discs around.
Sun King did a great job correcting the issues in their first mistakes. I would have had no issues with giving them another chance if they would have at least responded to my e-mail explaining why I was upset. It was not a nasty e-mail I just explained my situation and told them if they fixed their issues I would give them another chance. They however did not feel that it was worth their time to offer a apology or even a response.

Not a problem Mr Ed.

See you in Sarasota.
Thank you for the birthday wish.
Sorry to say, the art work didn't do well.
Sounds good, I'm emailing you from my Yahoo account, subject title is "Disc golf near Cincy".
