thanks for all the info on course in and around LA/Oxnard. I think we are taking a trip to Pamona(sp) and it looked like that whittler narrows course is on the way. It is 3 degress right now in Omaha (where i live) and i am looking forward to some warmer non snow packed Febuary golf!
Thanks for the response. I do hope that I can order the Disc Golf Channel someday on my cable, and with the image as it is, I don't see that in the near future. As far as Three Rivers goes, the temp course is now called the 'North Course'. It is PERMANENT! Yayyyyy. I played a tournament there recently, the Club Dead Disc Golf Oktoberfest. It was tons of fun. One round at Meyer Broadway and one on the North Course. It was a lot of fun. Close match, 3-way tie for second. Personally I like the North Course better. It is easier though. GO DISC GOLF
dont refer to this as a "hippie pothead" sport. my friend that brought me into this sport and has also been a huge part of it here in michigan condemns "using" at any time, especially on the course. why dont you attempt to bring the sport into a brighter light? i meet a lot of people and i don't depart them until they know what skill is involved and the broadness that the sport spans. IM OFFENDED
Dont worry, We can all see that your game is getting better. You will not play to the best of your abilities if you choose to put that much pressure on yourself. you always need to be as relaxed as possible, and until you do start playing good you must make the best decisions to minumize errors so that your scores are still good enough to get by.
I heard Wesley Valiant and John Tompkins were in. besides that Im not sure. I would be so down. I destroyed Waller in the december doubles tournament a few weeks ago. oo well. We'll have to be sure to be on the team next year!
Hey Todd! yeah at the Socal banquet I was told the spots that were left open were in Intermediate. If your interested in beating those norcal guys, you should contact Mike Byrne, maybe through suzette at innova. Suzette was asking people at the banquet if they were interested, sorry that you missed it. (the round of golf wasnt worth $20) lol
How have you been?
Thanks for your concern Todd. Your buddy Steve Rico advised me not to throw lefty and to let my throwing arm heal. So far I have done so, and i'm on track to be throwing by late December/early January. You can let Steve know I am very thankful for his words of advice. I should be full strength by around March, but I should be cleared to play way before that.
