Hey Mark! Hope to see you in Lansing this weekend. Gonna be at the woods early Friday afternoon to if you want to hook up for a practice round. I was out there today and one of your discs got turned in to DJ, cant remember what kind of disc it was. But it was red, Discraft, had your name on the top, and some of your secret sticky stuff on the bottom!!
ok, the one i have is white and has an "Angry Squrrel" toruny stamp on it. i got it from Larry Labond. its 174 and really flat and i love the way it flys. i feel that i wouldnt like domey ones as much. guess ill just try not to lose it! ive tried Z surges but the might be alittle too overstable for my backhand.
As a TD in Louisiana, it appears the practice of collecting
entries and using those monies to payout winners is illegal.
A felony, no less.
What better way to get back at that TD than report him?
In your experience with the law and the
PDGA board, past and present,
is there any direction regarding this matter?
yeah, grew up in outskirts of brighton, borderline pickney, so, hudson was a mere 10 min drive.... now live in northville because of school and me working out in Rochester... cass was an amazing course until a storm hit it last year, and with lack of park employees or enough hands to actually take care of the course, its totally trashed.... the walkway between hole 4 and 5, *where eirik lost your putter you lent him... ha ha! sorry eirik* is completely gone, as im sure you are aware of. see, my best friend has one leg and has problems playing cass benton with the lack of care that has gone into the course. i truly am excited for pay to play at kensington because that says to me, less drunk 17 year olds, and better course maintenance.... new chips 3 or 4 times a season, like hudson, maybe a mowing once a week or so.... im pretty excited for pay to play at kensington, oh oh, and the new course... haha! thanks for the add mark, hope to golf with you again this season... cheers and happy golfing!
Ya i'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. I'm sure there are few if any that make a trip to holland to play the course. Its a short wooded 18 with only 2 holes that are over 300 ft. Some can be technical but if you just bring your Roc and a putter you'll be fine(of wait I should say buzzz you being a discraft man). I've watched several of your instructional videos and they have more than helpful. Thanks for that.
My name is Skipper Hamilton, When i first started playing i saw a few of your video's on you tube. Really helped me in my short game, just wanted to say thanks man! To bad I can only get dial up where i'm liven right now ... otherwise i would watch more! Have a great day!
Hey Mark, this is "Forrest Gump" from your 1000rated.com article, lol. I was wondering what new Discraft videos/clinics if any, you had planned for this season? I thought it would be cool to do another forehand video, with Jeremy Koling and Geoff Bennett. Raley told me Bennett has the best sidearm ever, I heard that he switched sponsors though. Koling has a wicked sidearm too with great form/control. Anyway, I really like watching the Discraft videos, they have helped my game a lot.
Worlds...possibly...its still up in the air...Im more excited about the USADGC, are you apart of running that i know discraft is the primary sponsor...i plan on winning,!!! LOL By the way i wrote a thread about my bunk knee awhile backl and you said work on the forehand...worked on it and im consistently shooting 2 too 3 strokes better, it took some time but my forhand is just as long and almost as accurate as my back hand. now if only i could putt i would be a triple threat!!! LOL Actually one more quick question, when i practice my putting i make everything, well almost, but in a tournament im barely 50 percent outside of 20, now the other day i realized that when i practised i didnt take as long to putt as when im in a tournament round, so i tried a Ron Russel esque approach and only looked at my target as my arm was in the swingigng motion for my putt, and i couldnt miss, well i missed one butr it was about a 45 footer. Now the question, should i continue to practise the same and only utilize my new routine during tournaments, or should i use the new routine in practise?? Im concerned that if i use the routine in practise i will simply begin to over analyze the routine and be right back where i started. Sorry for being long winded but any thoughts?
